Full property or a few rooms
Tell us whether you need a whole house cleared or help with particular rooms, a garage or an outbuilding. Make a clear distinction between items to keep, items to move elsewhere and items for removal. Set aside personal papers, photographs, jewellery and sentimental belongings before clearance begins.

Give yourself time to decide
You do not have to make every decision during the first phone call. A useful starting point is a list of the spaces involved and any access constraints. If more than one family member is involved, agree who can give instructions and identify anything that must not be removed.
Responsible handling, agreed in advance
Describe unusual materials, electrical items, chemicals or anything potentially hazardous before work is quoted. Some items need separate arrangements and should never be concealed in ordinary boxes. Ask the team about disposal routes and any documentation relevant to your clearance. Collection and disposal costs should be clear in the agreed scope.
