01

Start with the inventory

List what you intend to store, including dimensions, quantities and anything unusually heavy or valuable. Describe the condition and packaging of stock or equipment. Not every product is suitable for ordinary storage, so tell us about liquids, batteries or materials with specific environmental requirements.

02

Plan around how often you need it

Long-term furniture storage and frequently accessed stock have different requirements. Explain your expected access frequency, who will collect goods and whether you need help with transport. Confirm the access process and handling arrangements before choosing a storage option.

03

Support a premises change

Storage can create breathing space during an office refurbishment or a move between premises. Split your inventory into items needed immediately and items that can wait, then discuss collection and staged redelivery. Hornes can also discuss the physical move through its commercial removals service.
